Come pull up a chair and join geoscientist Shirin for ongoing conversations and demonstrations about the natural world.
These free, drop-in discussions are open to all. She brings along specimins from her personal collections, along with geologic maps that tell the hidden stories about landscapes you encounter every day.
Visitors are encourraged to bring rocks for identification, compare finds, or share discoveries of their own!
From time to time, fascinating guest experts join the conversation as well, with unusual perspectives on the world around us, including scientists, engineers, and a favourite local falconer with one or two of her falcons.
No background in science required: just bring your curiosity!
